Learning activities and teaching methods |
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Methods of individual activities |
Learning outcomes |
The course aims to equip students with the statistical apparatus to a computer for analysis and further processing of experimental data and to teach students to work with software tools. Use of interactive statistical analysis allows to investigate the peculiarities of statistical data exploratory data analysis, validate assumptions about data collection and data quality evaluation performed to detect any deeper connections in the data.
Evaluation of experimental data independently. |
Prerequisites |
Basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
|
Assessment methods and criteria |
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation
Successful treatment of all lab exercises by the end of the semester. Tasks are processed on a PC using the specified software to control and are sent by mail to the teacher. In the case of shortcomings in the processing of the job is returned to the relevant commentary. The processing of each task are given three attempts in case of failure is given the role of substitute. Detailed instructions are displayed on the subject. |
