Key learning outcomes The aim of the Information Technology study program is to prepare the graduates for their further assertion into practice mainly in positions of development, project and research engineers, as well as in managing positions of developing and projecting teams of companies and organizations which are engaged in the field of database, information system and software development and maintenance and their operating and service, and other industrial scope of work. In particular the professions specialized in the fields such as creating, testing, imple-mentation, administration and system maintenance where information technologies are mainly used. According to students' selection of facultative subjects their study field is focused on software or database development, graphics or scope of modeling, simulation or Artificial Intelligence. For some of the graduates within this study field it is possible to continue in postgraduate study in postdoctoral program of the same or similar specialization.
