Course content
Economic policy, its aims, bearers and instruments. Coordination of economics and economic-political conception. Economic competition and competition policy. Stabilization policy. External economic policy. Structural policy. Social policy. Economic integration. Main directions of interventionist economic policy. Main directions of neo-conservative economic policy. Transformation processes of central planned economics.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with basic knowledge in the theory and practice of economic policy. It assumes good level of knowledge of general economic theory, history of national economy and economic theories, finance, law and public administration and politics. Furthermore, the course deals except the information about basic appliance used in the formation and decision making in the economic policy also with the most important economic policies and its development.
Students will be able to use the knowledge and information from this course and applied them into economical theory and also for detailed analysis the continuing courses.
Prerequisites
Prerequisite of study is general knowledge of economics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment

The assignment is granted upon completion of the seminar paper. The examination comprises of written test and oral examination.
