Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the knowledge of function, structure, functioning and regulation of capital markets as well as with the activity of the subjects practising in capital markets. Furthermore, the aim is to master the principles of dealing with stocks and bonds and provide the students with basic knowledge of stocks, bonds, allotment certificates and financial derivatives. The course acquaints the students with summary knowledge of capital markets and investment instruments, it includes the problem of dealing with stocks and bonds, stock exchange activity and operations in stocks. It deals, further, with investment stocks and bonds (stocks, bonds), allotment certificates and financial derivatives.
A student will be able to understand the functioning of capital market and stock exchange principles of securities transactions. The student handles the conditions and the specific issues of the securities. The student will be able to make use of investment instruments in the economic practice.
