Course content
Economic analyses and its function in a company, methods of economic analyses. Assessment of company health. Development of pyramidal system of indicators. Costs and contribution analysis, analysis of costs efficiency. Controlling, benchmarking and internal audit. Analysis of human resources and productivity of labour. BSC method. Utilization of qualitative indicators in company evaluation. Utilization of TQM in creation of system of company indicators.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to teach the students how to apply company indicators and acquaint them with methods of synthetic evaluation of the company prosperity. Within the course students will be acquainted with methods of managerial analysis as well as with the knowledge needed for the formation of company indicators systems that would truly and comprehensively represent the behaviour of managed object as a whole. Based on analysis of indicators for single company activities and assessment of its information capability the company is reviewed as a specific subject which is important to be characterized from the quantitative and qualitative point of view. Lectured topics include not only methods of financial analysis, but also methods more focused on evaluation of the quality characteristics of a company (for example Balanced Scorecards).
A student will master the knowledge of management analysis methods and gains practical experience with their applications.
