Course content
Introduction to financial crisis problem. Financial crisis of the national point of view. Actual view of the financial crisis in the world (macroeconomic view). Financial crisis in the company - determination, typology and characteristic. Causes of financial crisis in the company. Identification of financial crisis in the company. Methods of prevention of financial crisis in the company. Company revitalization and financial crisis. Company restructuring and financial crisis. Property changes as an instrument for solving financial crisis in the company. Stocks and bonds in the process of financial crisis. Specifics of financial crisis in non-profit organizations.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to extend students' existing knowledge with the information about prevention and solution of critical situations in the area of finance. Furthermore, students will be acquainted with actual trends in this area. The aim is also to teach them how to use modern methodical instruments with the accent put on the financial crisis in the company and possibilities of the financial restructuring. The attention is paid to determination and explanation of basic terms and connections related to the problems of financial crisis and its prevention. The course further presents practical examples of realization of preventive measures in the situation of financial crisis. The accent is put on the micro view, however it also handles with the problem of the financial crisis at the national level. Students will be able to use acquired knowledge to identify the financial crisis in the company and select appropriate methods when facing such a crisis.
A student will be able to use gained knowledge on the prevention of crisis situations and solving the negative conditions in the financial sector company and the issues of financial crises to specify from the both corporate and macroeconomic point of view.

The graded assignment is granted upon completion of the following conditions: completion of the seminar paper on a given topic (examining the ability to solve any selected issue of the financial company crisis) and passing the final written test (the examination is usually in the form of test and examines the ability to master lectured topics).
