Course content
Environmental conditions in life of company. Act no. 185/2001 Coll., on waste. Waste categories and its characteristics, impacts on environment. Dangerous and toxic waste. Waste occurrence and its evidence in a company. Recycling and use of waste. Waste liquidation. Poison and toxic materials, environmental risks. Plan of rational waste management.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
The course follows up with the issue of the technology of production and goods and the enterprise theory. Students are acquainted with basic knowledge of ecological conditions in life of company. The accent is put on waste legislation. The course focuses on waste categories, its occurrence, recycling and liquidation. Furthermore, the attention is paid to rational company management and treatment with waste according modern aproaches to environmental protection.
Student will be able to find a structure in some topics in waste management in public administration and privat sector.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge on economy, management and law. Basic knowledge of chemistry and physics (student should have an idea about the names of some basic chemical elements and composition of certain simple chemical compounds. It would also be familiar with commonly used physical units and their conversions).

Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

Examination granting is conditioned by attendance at lectures.
