Course objectives:
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the issues of road vehicle operation. Attention is paid to the control of technical parameters of road vehicles, calculation models in fleet management and in the assessment of environmental performance of vehicles.
Requirements on student
Knowledge of vehicle theory and design, vehicle maintenance and repair theory is assumed.
After completing the course, the student must be oriented in the problems of technical operation of road vehicles (and partly also public transport).
The condition for participation in the examination is the obtaining of credit for full-time students. The credit confirms that the student has participated in the required level of instruction and that he/she has fulfilled the requirements for the award of credit. The conditions for the award of credit are determined by the instructor in the first week of the semester's lecture period. The examination of the course (oral and written) for full-time and combined form of study is determined in accordance with the Study and Examination Regulations of the UPa.
