Course content
Labour law and its position in legal system, its development. Labour law sources. Principles and functions of labour law. Labour-law facts. Legislative relations in securing of labour law. Labour relations. Employment. Special types of contracts. Reward system, working conditions, employees care. Working hours, breaks. Work security and health protection. Compensations in labour law. Trade unions and Employee commissions. Collective labour law (negotiation, collective agreements).

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to clarify the position of the Labour law in our legal system, characteristics of its legal institutes and application of basic theoretical principles in the practice.
Student will be able to understand labour relations from the position of the employee and employer and solve common problems in the labour relations (holiday, notice, compensation etc.).
Prerequisites
Student should have basic knowledge of legal theory and civil law.

Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment, Work-related product analysis

The assignment is granted upon completion of seminar work and passing the final written test.
