Course content
Company. Property and capital structure of a company. Purchase and supply activities in a company. Production. Sale activities. Rescue and company cessation. Costs. Economic result, cash-flow, relations among basic economic values. Company financing. Investing and investments. Controlling and audit.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with basic terms and company activities and create hereby basis for the follow up economic courses. The course acquaints the students with basic information about company problems divided into two thematic areas. The first one deals with the "company science" which is focused on company activities such as company establishment, supply, production, sale, rescue and company cessation. The second area deepens this information by focusing on "company economics", especially costs, revenues, calculation, financial and investment problems.
A student will be able to apply knowledge in solving management problems of corporate governance.

The assignment is granted upon completion of all correspondence tasks. The examination is written (conditioned by assignment granting).
