| Key learning outcomes | The postgraduate Master's programme is aimed to prepare educated experts for professional careers in the field of information technologies and in all sectors using information technologies, in positions of development, design and research workers, or in managerial positions in teams with the above focus at firms involved in software, database and information system development, administration, operation and maintenance. The graduate has a good grasp of all key areas of current information technology. He/she knows the essentials of economics, law, quality control and project management. He/she has special knowledge in the field of software development and also database, graphic system, multimedia system and computer network design and programming. The graduate has prerequisites for professional careers in the following positions: independent worker or manager in design or development departments; development laboratory programmer or analyst programmer; manager in charge of IT administration; computer and office equipment servicing manager; technician manager or system project engineer. The best graduates are well-prepared to continue with their studies in a doctoral programme at other faculties of the University of Pardubice or other Czech as well as foreign universities. | ||||
