Key learning outcomes

The Bachelor's degree course is aimed to prepare experts for professional careers in industry in the field of measurement and automatic control, namely in the design, manufacturing, administration, diagnostics and maintenance of measuring, information, automation, security and other similar equipment. The graduate has the basic theoretical knowledge of mathematics, physics and other sciences. He/she has an expert knowledge of general electrical engineering, programming and use of communication technologies. His/her special knowledge applies to theories of automatic control, dynamic system modelling, technology quantity measurement, signal processing and control application programming. The functional orientation of the graduates is a prerequisite for careers in the following professions: technical and operation clerk at industrial, transport and other plants; computer network and office equipment administrator at institutions, bureaus, schools and plants; output control clerk, technician in testing and measure centres; measuring, information and control systems technician; technician in research, development and design departments. A part of the graduates with good study results can continue with their studies in the postgraduate Master's programme with a similar focus to expand and deepen their knowledge.
