Course content
Introduction to sociology - its definition, structure, importance in practice. Determination of sociological phenomena. History of sociology in its genesis. Types of research (audit, marketing research, sociological research). Basic sociological categories - social groups (classification, features, groups, types of groups). Norms and institutions. Deviation. System of social control, sanctions. Values, value system. Conflicts and its solution (interpersonal, intrapersonal). Partial sociological disciplines, family and youth sociology. Leisure time sociology - time record as a sociological method, leisure time activities. Work and industry sociology, settlement, town and countryside sociology.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to acquaint the students with basci social phenomenona and conceptions, give them knowledges about elementary metodologic consecutions in analasis of social phenomena in the society.
Student will be able to orientate in basic sociologic concepts and use them in the study of further economic subjects.

Oral examination, Written examination

The assignment is based on the written test and oral discussion.
