Course content
Analysis of sources of information related to the history of the long 19th century, with a prevailing focus on the area of Central Europe. Kinds of sources of information, their occurrence, search, interpretation.
Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide detailed information regarding the selected types of sources related to the history of the 19th century. With regard to the specific character of the course, it is advisable that the students understand at least the essentials of the methodology of the field. Students will have the possibility to make a practical application of work with sources and will acquire a more detailed understanding about some of them. Students will become familiar with the existence and availability of selected types of sources.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation Credit is dependent on active participation in seminars, including completion of an individual seminar task that will be specified during the first session. This is a precondition for taking the final test (to pass, a student must receive at least 70% ).
