Key learning outcomes | The objective of this specialisation is to prepare specialists who will be equipped with theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills from the disciplines such as history of culture, literary science, sociology of culture; and who will be able to understand individual patterns of variable symbolic thinking and to influence the current cultural life in the most creative way. Graduates will have acquired the skills necessary for understanding the current cultural and social issues in connection with the up-to-date viewpoint of social sciences and the humanities. They will have acquired language competence in their mother tongue, which will enable them to express themselves appropriately in written as well as spoken form in different situations. They will also have gained IT skills. Graduates will be able to provide basic educational and counselling service within critical and historically rooted work with written and electronic media, to fulfil requirements connected with functions in public relations of administrative and cultural institutions. They will also be able to work in non-profit organisations and public or private foundations of different kind. Graduates will be equipped with knowledge applicable in further study of master programmes of Historical Sciences or related disciplines. | ||||
