| Key learning outcomes | The goal of the field of the study is to gain a professional qualification as a paramedic in order to provide independent, specific nursing care in the field of emergency care and acute admission. The graduate is able to independently provide individualized care to individuals whose health is in acute danger and is able to provide complete premedical first aid. Furthermore, the graduate participates in emergency treatment and diagnostic care. The graduate gains competence to work in the paramedic profession in a network of organizations and workplaces providing health care rescuer services under the umbrella of an integrated rescue system as well as in other sectors active in rescuing health and life. Upon successful completion of the study, graduates gain a wide system foundation in the field of the Paramedic, with a possibility of further specializations within the lifelong learning framework. | ||||
