Key learning outcomes The goal of the field of the study is to gain a professional qualification of a health and social worker in order to provide independent direct health and social care and services to the individual, family, and community both in the prevention area and in the area of health and social work across all age groups. The graduate gains professional competence to work in the profession of health and social worker without professional supervision. His/her activities encompass preventive, diagnostic, and rehabilitation care in the social-health domain. He/she participates in nursing care in the area of meeting the patient´s/client´s health and social needs. Upon successful completion of the study, graduates gain a wide system foundation in the field of Health and Social Worker, with a possibility of further specializations within the lifelong learning framework.
